I learned never…

write

I learned never to empty the well of my writing, but always to stop when there was still something there in the deep part of the well, and let it refill at night from the springs that fed it.
Ernest Hemingway

As my keys go “click, click, click” on the keyboard part of my heart soars. To write is one of my many joys. I tend to go around in circles with my own gifts and maybe this is why….so there’s always something left over, so I will always return. Whether it be writing, painting, working out, singing, playing with my children, modeling, visiting with my friends, taking photos (even though its confirmed I’m terrible at that), my list of joys is endless. Some short days ago I thought this was a bad thing. I concluded that I don’t exactly give anything enough time if it doesn’t happen JUST the way I want it to RIGHT away, but I like this better….and I’m working on giving everything it’s own respectful amount of time.

GO do what you love, what you enjoy, and what makes your heart open.

I’m Thankful this Thursday that I’m beginning to discover there may be more to me than I realized. If you already know this about yourself–AWESOME, if not, go discover! Happy Thursday!
